Government has simplified the procedures related to the issuance of drivers’ licenses and vehicle registration for IDPs

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, at its meeting on June 2nd, 2021 amended the Regulations on procedure for the issue of driving licenses and authorization of citizens to drive vehicles and on the Procedure of state registration (re-registration), removal of vehicle from the register, buses, as well as self-propelled vehicles, vehicles designed on chassis, motorcycles of all types, makes and models, trailers, semi-trailers, sidecars and other equated vehicles and mopeds.

The Deputy Minister for Reintegration of the Temporary Occupied Territories of Ukraine Snaver Seitkhaliliev stated the aforementioned during the presentation of the Report on regional integration programs for internally displaced persons.

The Government has approved the mechanism of preferential lending to internally displaced persons

Today, on April 28th, 2021, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine at its session has approved the appropriate procedure for granting preferential loans to internally displaced persons at the expense of the grant of EUR 25.5 million, provided by the Credit Institute for Reconstruction (KfW).

More than 2000 citizens used bank services in service centers "Shchastia" and "Novotroitske" since January

In January-March, 2021, 2,172 citizens used bank services of JSC "Oschadbank" in the service centers on EECPs "Shchastia" and "Novotroitske". The aforementioned was reported by the SE "Reintegration and Recovery".

During three months, 5,067 citizens used the services of "Nova Poshta"; 1,459 citizens used the services of the cross-sell store "Osto"; 1,432 citizens used the services of medical points. Services were provided to 2,379 citizens in the Centers for Administrative Services Provision.

Ministry for Reintegration of TOT discussed the introduction of preparatory courses for the applicants from TOT with the higher educational institutions

Summer preparatory courses for applicants from the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine will be introduced before admission to Ukrainian higher educational institutions.

This will help future students to adapt to their new place of residence. This is the main goal of the program of the Ministry for Reintegration of the Temporary Occupied Territories of Ukraine.

The pilot project of preparatory courses is planned for the 2021-2022 academic year.
